What Game should I look at next?

Lord Of the Rings Online

It has come time for me to move into I would say one of the largest markets gaming has to offer. The amount of weight I have gained playing MMO's is probably 20 % of my life time weight gain. Sitting on my ass and farming in game supplies is just some how appealing. And for people who read my other blog who saw the maple story post, that is not an MMO thats a GMMO ( Gay MMO ) And if you gay rights advocates come out of the wood works saying I can't call it gay, then get a fucking life. ( Freedom of Speech I'll say what ever the fuck I want )

IT'S FREE!
That's right people, LOTRO is completely free to play. There are countless reasons to get Premium, and probably VIP, but F2P ( Free to play ) is fine with me. You unlock turbine points ( Currency used in the LOTRO store. Purchased with real money.  ) as you unlock deeds. Deeds can be killing 100 spiders, or just not dieing until level 10. I got my riding skill without spending a dollar and it felt great. The game has a good vibe to it, not to mention it's beautiful. The creators really went into detail in making sure the world was accurate. YOU CAN'T WALK INTO MORDOR!

My favorite part of the game is the touches of originality. Unlike most MMO's out in the market today that some what remind you of games past, LOTRO has kept things very lord of the ringsy. A nice touch since I loved the books and movies. The Game is taking place during the movies and if you play as a hobbit you actually run into Frodo and Sam before the embark on walking into Mordor... Wait a minute.

If you have some free time, and want to really jump into the MMO games, I would suggest LOTRO. It is one of the top on the market, from the graphics and the player base, which is probably growing now that it's free. The game is very fun, and the quests follow a web of events, which is very entertaining and makes questing a whole bunch easier if you pay attention to what the quest giver is saying.

Aside from the mounts being 500 Silver, and I needing to now farm a shit load of Copper and Tin to just sell off, it grabs your attention. I'm only level 15 but I'm having a lot more fun then any other MMO.
( I take that back, WAR ( Warhammer ) was a lot more fun until I hit the dead zones. )

Fallout New Vegas

My brother picked up a copy of the newest addition to the Fallout family the other day. The game looks very similar to past versions, just in a desert setting. Unlike my other games, that I try to play fully through before getting a rating out into the world, fallout is much to large and therefor will be posting updating blog posts throughout the time I play the game. This blog post is my thoughts and comments from level 1 to 6.

Starting Out
The game starts you getting shot, and it never really says if you died or not. I guess the guys that killed you just don't understand that at point blank range a shot to the head would save them some trouble. Some robot comes and saves you bringing you back to the doctor, who is god in a way, letting you choose your strengths and shit. The game lets you off into the wonderful mojave desert. ( I think I spelled that right ). Your pretty much told by the doctor to go to the salon to get some training so you don't get shot again. You meet some people and do some things. You also get a based understanding of about everyone in the town of GoodSprings that you can. Talking to people in this part of the game really sets up the mood of the game, it establishes two major sides in the desert, and throws the player in-between both sides with some gang problems. NRC and the Legion, the majority of the people favor the NRC ( New Republic of California ). Say that the legion are slavers and killers. I ran into the legion once so far, and they held true to what I was told, the entire town in ruins, but the leader of the group had some cool Armour. I found myself pulling out my gun readying to kill him just to acquire it, when my brother told me you can't. Their is a card game built into the game called caravan. I played two games of it so far, the concept is easy to grasp it's a good way to come into contact with caps when you need some and can't manage to find any. Caps are still the main currency in the wasteland so far, I have been picking up I think it's NRC money, not sure what that does, maybe there is like a town or something that they control and I could spend some of the money there.

Level 6 - Getting off for the night...
The game itself is very fun, I found myself having a grand time exploring. The quests just like the Fallout 3, do lead you into some crazy shit, my brother and I share an Xbox, and when I was looking at his save, we are both level 6, but he hasn't completed some of the mission, but is a lot further then me in the legion story. The game I think is an amazing game, and I give it a 9/10

Fifa 11'

I've never really followed sports, yeah I love sports games, and I follow a handful of teams, but I'm not a sports guru. Fifa 11 the newest of the FIFA titles promised people like me the ease of playing the game without knowing players that well. At the same time it offers die hard soccer (Foot ball ) fans, the opportunity to play every player to their full potential. The amount of time I devoted to FIFA 2010 world cup was a good portion of my summer days, and the feeling I get knowing fifa 11 is just a faster smoother and well versed version of it, gives me a warm fuzzy feeling all around. The game runs smoothly, it's a lot more fast paced then previous versions. The biggest complaint I've heard is the passing is annoying, but I've seen some of my friends monster on the passing. I do believe it's something that you have to learn which adds a certain aspect to the game that gives players something to work on. The game itself is definitely the hardest of the franchise, and with this much improvement from the last to now, leaves me wondering what's in store for 12'. I was trying to search for articles talking about FIFA 12 if you have any bookmarked please do share.

I give the game 8/10.
